Opening Hours

DUE TO THE CURRENT PANDEMIC THE PARTNERS AT THE SURGERY ARE ONLY OFFERING TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS.  WHEN YOU CALL AND SPEAK TO A RECEPTIONIST YOU WILL BE REMINDED THAT THIS IS A TELEPHONE CALL AND NOT TO COME TO THE SURGERY.

Main Surgery

8.30am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri for appointments.

Calls are answered 08:30 until 5.30pm Monday – Thursday when there is an urgent service available provided by IC24 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm – please call 08451 450 121.

The surgery will close at 5.30pm on a Friday – there is an urgent service available provided by IC24 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm – please call 08451 450 121.

Please note that on Thursdays between 1.00pm – 1.30pm the surgery will be closed for training.  There will be an urgent service available with a message on the answerphone for the surgery.

Additional Accident and Emergency information

St Richards Hospital, Chichester provides a 24hour emergency department. Please try to avoid attending for things that could be dealt with by your GP.

Bognor War Memorial Hospital operates a walk in service for minor injuries between 09:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri.

In a life-threatening situation

Dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

When We Are Closed

General medical and healthcare advice is available 24 hours a day from NHS 111.

For urgent medical attention outside our normal surgery hours, please call the practice and your call will be re-directed to the Out of Hours Service or alternatively you can call them direct on 08451 450 121. The on-call duty doctor will be on call for several surgeries and you will usually be asked to attend an emergency clinic in the locality so that the doctor can examine you.

What is NHS 111?

  • A simple, free to call, easy to remember three digit number that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
  • NHS 111 directs patients to the service that is best able to meet your needs taking into account your location, the time of day you are calling and the capacity of local services.

When should I use 111?

When its not a life threatening situation and, therefore, is less urgent than a 999 call

  • When you cannot see your own GP, for instance when it is closed or your are away from home
  • When you feel you cannot wait or are simply unsure of which service you require
  • When you require reassurance about what to do next
