Repeat Prescriptions

Request a repeat prescription

We can arrange for your prescription to go straight to your local pharmacy so that you can collect it from there. Please ask our receptionists to set this up for you. Alternatively you can collect the prescription from us during opening hours.

Please allow at least 3 working days to get more supplies of your regular medicines.

We do not allow requests for repeat medication to be made by phone for safety reasons.  This is recommended practice.  We are sorry if this causes you inconvenience.

Medication Reviews

Your medication will need to be reviewed, usually every six months or so as shown on your repeat slip. This is so that we can assess whether the medicine is still right for you or whether the dose needs to be altered. You need to make an appointment for the review – we will issue a reminder note as the date approaches.

Further prescriptions will not be issued if you do not arrange to be reviewed.
